We are 5 minutes by car from Orgiva, the capital of Las Alpujarras, a national Park in Andalucia on the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada in Southern Spain, and 10 minutes from the spa town of Lanjaron. The whole area is abundant with natural beauty; the Moors who ruled in the 12th Century believed that this was the paradise promised to them by Allah. With 325 days of sunshine every year, the cleanest air of Europe, the riotous colours of flowers, and the scents of the natural herbs all have an allure of their own. The villa is located near to the traditional market town of Orgiva, which is in the province of Granada. Granada is famous for its historical city and of course the world famous Alhambra. Granada has many excellent beaches located on the Costa Tropical.
